Choreography starts with a concept, which is a clear reflection of the artist’s or production’s musicality and lyrics that is produced on a performing platform. It deals with the complexity of movements, steps, gestures, and different styles that is translated to help express stories and ideas. My choreography will illustrate creativity, express interpretation, and diversity. Throughout my choreography, the artist(s) or scene production will demonstrate proficiency in the various styles that reflect dance; learn vocabulary used within the various dance forms; increase rhythmic awareness and the musicality; work on “Freestyle Dance”; and enforce the retention of movement techniques and qualities of all choreographed works.
